Stinky Shoe Remedy #006 – The Nestea Plunge

PROPOSED HOME REMEDY

Soak your feet in a basin filled with tea. Simply let a couple of tea bags steep in warm water for a few minutes, then soak smelly feet. Give it another few minutes.

Harken back about a decade and we were all told during summertime to “Take the Nestea Plunge”.  Check this out! Hilarious homage to it!  Well, back to shoes.  I’ve got to disagree with this post.  Feet in tea?  Would that be instant or brewed?  Grey Earl, anyone?  NOT!  I just can’t see this working at all.  What a pain, too.  Plus, it doesn’t address the real issue- the stinky foot is a function of a stinky shoe.  Clean the foot (and not the shoe), guess what.  Next time you wear ‘em, they’ll stink again.  Guess this would require a Nestea ritual!  In any event, I’ve got an idea.  How about a simple, cost-effective solution to absorbing moisture and eliminating odor in shoes– get Stuffitts Shoe Savers!
