Scrub shoes out with soapy water. Rinse and let air dry. Poor some Listerine in a spray bottle and spray the insides of shoes well and let air dry. Shoes will smell extremely fresh!

I spray Febreeze in the kids shoes every night before bed or as often as necessary and it does the trick around here.
